Welcome to Solas.  We're an Alliance Late Night raiding guild on Moonrunner.

We are currently open for recruitment, availability on right side of page.  Our required progression raid nights are Mon-Thurs 9p-1230a, so all applicants that can't make 75% of these nights will be denied automatically.  Off-nights are optional raid nights with similar raid times.

Our guild chat consists of many foul-mouthed, zingers.  We love to joke around and have fun during non raid times, where new applicants often fit in quickly.  Once raiding starts, we expect everyone to "LOCK IT DOWN" and keep vent clear and non raid chatter to a minimum. We don't allow overly offensive talk in guild chat and expect all Solas members to treat other members with respect.  If you can't handle jomamma jokes, "thats what she said", clever nicknames, "story of your life", etc. I suggest you deal with it or look elsewhere.  Drama Queens/Kings will not last long either.  We except everyone to have fun and get along. 

We run many heroics during off times, and have many guild PvPers.  We're not here to hold you hand and to give you loot.  If you think raid success is based off loot, you will not fit it.  If you PST officers QQing about not getting in one raid, you will also not fit in.  Raiding guilds require more raiders than there is room for on a given night.  We can't recruit 25 people and expect to raid everynight.  There will always be extra DPS, Healers, and Tanks, that will have to sit out.  I will due my best to get a steady rotation of the subs.  We see loyalty and notice who has been patiently sitting out and who is QQing to officers about sitting out.  Also "I do moar DPS than X, and I have to sit out." I DONT CARE, don't PST me complaining, I will get you in when I can.  You can either be patient and deal with it or join a different guild where may never get to see end game.

Guild Meeting  on Tues 7/21/09    BE THERE!!!

We have a very talented group of raiders in this guild. Let's all talk about our future as a guild and make plans to keep a solid raid schedule going. I want to talk about ways to keep everyone involved.

Our current goal atm is to clear Uld 10 man. We have never really tried to accomplish this as a guild. All of our attention has been focused towards 25 man. With our current attendance issues 25 mans are not happening right now. We decided to start trying hard modes on 10 man until our other raiders were back on a more regular basis. I think it makes more sense to try to clear Uld 10 first ( maybe with a few hard mode attempts on the way to Yogg he he) . This will also allow us to rotate people in on some 10 man content with more ease. This will also help us in recruiting others with an Uld 10 full clear (well leaving out Algalon). 

There is alot of new 10 man content coming out in the new patch. I hope we can work towards 2 10 man groups and then start 25s again. It can happen alot quicker than you think we have new apps almost every other day. If we can just make it through the summer slow down we should be fine in the fall.
